Your groomsmen have a very special part on your wedding. They are actually an important element in any wedding. They are the ones who stand by the groom’s side on the wedding day. They are the ones throwing a bachelor party which you will not forget. But when do you give your gifts for your groomsmen?
For most guys which I have talked to about, they give groomsmen gifts usually at the rehearsal dinner. This dineer is usually one or two days before the actual wedding day. You can tell your guys how much you appreciate their presence for all the years you have been friends together and now for your wedding day.
If it is possible for you to arrange a “just guys” function weeks before your wedding, that can be the best time to hand them your gifts. You can arrange a day for going out for bowling, golfing or to your favorite bar with just the boys.
I also know some guys who wants to make sure that everything is going well and that all the groomsmen will do the jobs appointed to them on the big day. Then after the honeymoon or after the groom have settled a little, the groom can then give their groomsmen gifts on the next time that he will see each of the grooms. If there is one in your groomsmen who are out-of-town, you may want to give them their gifts earlier or you can just ship it to him via UPS.
Actually, there are no rules as to when grooms should gift the groomsmen gifts. All weddings are unique and couples can do what they want to do in their wedding to make it even more special. But it will help one save time and stress if they plan ahead of time.
