Natural Way to Treat Kidney Infection

Urinary tract infections, bladder infections and kidney infections are creating great deal of pain.  Also, medications on these infections may create vicious cycles of recurrent infections.  Therefore, herbal treatment for urinary tract, bladder and kidney infection is much better.

The kidney is the organ responsible for filtering the blood, removing toxins, and regulating blood volume, plasma, electrolytes, blood’s PH level and blood pressure.  When the infection settled into the urinary tract, all these functions slow down.  And because everything is filtered in our kidney, medications can then add to the strain that is put on them.  If kidney infection is naturally treated, not only you will be healed as quickly as with a drug treatment but you can also begin to fight the kidney disease proactively.

To get rid of the pain caused by the infection, increase your water intake immediately.  It is recommended to drink 16 ounces of distilled water every hour.  Raw vegetables and fruits should comprise 50% of your daily food intake.  Foods that are highly beneficial for your condition are celery, cucumber, legumes, asparagus, papaya, bananas and watermelon.  Avoid animal-derived foods like cheese, butter milk and meat products.  Eliminate refined white flour and supplement them with cereals, pastas and breads.  Cut down on salt, sugar, sodas, caffeine and as well as processed and fried foods.  Some herbs are also found to be helpful for kidney infections like marshmallow roots, parsley roots, juniper berry, ginger root, goldenseal root, lobelia herb and uva ursi leaf.

Clean Home Air: Secret to Overcome Allegies

In our daily lives, we are exposed to contaminants like pet danders, bacteria and molds which can lead to serious problems in our health.  All these are present in our homes though we can’t see them.  There are many solutions for this problem found in the market.  Residential air cleaners is designed to provide air filtration at home.  Also, you may consider pre-filter to remove large contaminants that are airborne.  While all these particles can be filtered by aircleaner, pre-filter help extend your purifier’s life by handling large particles.

If what you need is an extra filtration, you may consider HEPA or a surgical grade filtration system.  This ensures maximum air filtration in your home.  This is popular especially to those families where there are allergies and asthma.

You can also find air cleaners that are granular activated carbon which basically removes vapors and gases.  There is a technology in air cleaners which uses ultra violet to kill viruses and bacteria.  Spores and cells can be killed by ultra violet.  This is a good choice if you have a mold problem.

Things you Should Know about Ulcers

Lots of people believed that eating much of spicy foods and stress are the main causes of ulcer.  Probiotics and milk are also believed to cure ulcers.  Unfortunately, these are just myths since many ulcers are caused by H. pylori bacteria.

Actually, spicy foods is preventive to ulcers.  Capsaicin may stimulate the stomach causing the release of chemicals for protection.  Milk, although not a cure for ulcer, may help make one feel better.  However, at least two thirds of the population is lactose intolerant meaning milk might not be the best choice.  Probiotics may help since the good bacteria in it may relieve the infection.  However, probiotics is not strong enough to be the cure alone.  Perhaps, it is because of the short time that they are able to stay in the stomach.

Cigarettes like tobacco can really double one’s risk of developing ulcer.  For centuries now, marshmallow is used to soothe irritated stomach including ulcers.  Although this practice has not undergone studies, it has been believed to help soothe infection.  The use of licorice root has been found out helpful for peptic ulcers.  The DGL found in the root is found to be the powerful substance in it that helps cure ulcers.
