Defining What a Criminal Is All About

A doctor is not a doctor who handles everything, just like a lawyer who handles any case that is brought to court. With being a doctor, you get to hear about a heart specialist, a pulmonologist, a doctor of the skin, and so on and so forth. On the other hand, while you can only hear such terms are criminal lawyer, or a criminal barrister, which is more often heard in the United Kingdom; such a term can cover a lot of things. Criminal law is as wide as the continent of South America, or even North America. While both continents are considered two of the biggest continents in the globe, each continent includes their own list of countries. Criminal law is also just as similar.

In ensuring that you find the best criminal lawyer to defend you, you would have to search through the internet to know which names would pop up should you type in specific keywords. Criminal law would cover murder, manslaughter, theft, arson, robbery, sexual assault, and so many more, which is why typing in the specific case that you have been charged of would be a better option.

Choosing a lawyer is all about narrowing down the category, or even nature, of the case that is filed against you. While you certainly represent money and increased list of clientele for this lawyer, he would have to be truthful to the fact that he specializes on sexual assault only, or if he only handles manslaughter cases only as well.

Building A “Godly” Character

In life, it is so hard to become Godly especially when you are not with God.  Many frustrations, hardships, failures in life will challenge you.  If you are willing to be Godly, you need to take steps one by one in order to successfully obey the will of God.  But how can you be able to obey God if you yourself is living far from God.  How can you become Godly if you don’t live as Christ or if you don’t even know His steps.  Building a Godly character is not based on “earning” salvation through works.  Salvation is a free gift that only God can give and not the world who always make us sin.  But biblically speaking, the scriptures told us that in order for us to be saved, we just need to believe.  Believe that God died for our sins and to save us from judgment.  Even if our deepest intellectual capacities cannot define why God died for us and why he gave us eternal life.  We cannot imagine how wonderful God is to save each and every one of us because all of us are imperfect and unworthy of his love.  In order to be Godly, we must honor God.  Honor him and obey his will.  But how can we do that?  First, you must believe that God died for us because He loves us.  God has the unconditional grace and ultimate power all over the world.  That is the reason why knowledge should lead anyone to honor God.

Why Christ Must Return?

Jesus Christ is savior of the Earth.  But remember that if Christ will return to the Earth, it will mean that there is no longer a savior but rather a judge.  Grace of God is unconditional.  He gives us the chance to back out in our sins and face what God plans for us.  There is no hope on this Earth if God will not return.  The Earth is doomed and the followers of God will frustrate in his coming.  Even the Earth has a super-technology, boosting of the scientific knowledge and latest efficient computerization and the advancement of medical science. The world is sick and not getting any better.  The Earth has hazardous chemical waste, polluted air, water and soil as an effect of the technology’s advancement.  Even mind pollution can be considered as pollution just because of pornographic materials which poisoned the minds of youth, child abuse, sex slaves, drug addiction and war.  How can we handle this kind of situations if God will not come to save the Christians who believed in Him? According to Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:26, blessed be the servant whom has Lord when he cameth shall find so doing.  Jesus wants us to be in His kingdom. He wants us to spread the gospel until he return.  We should not be tired of believing in Him and in working hard for the salvation of others.  God never wants anybody to be judge but rather to be saved.

Why Church and State should be separated?

The 1973 and 1987 Philippine Constitution emphasizes that church and state should be separated.  In Articles III, Sec.5 of 1987 Constitution stated that the separation of church and state should be implemented.  The state or government cannot dictate the people with regards to religion or cannot instruct them on what and which religious doctrines to believe as well as philosophies.  It should be like this, the state or government cannot declare only one official religion to its entire people ruling nor prohibit the practice of other religion as long as the religion does not violate the law of the government.  The government cannot also endorse only one religion and then disregard the others.  The government violates the “Bill of Rights” if that would be the case.  This principle of separating the church and government was seen in the Bible when Jesus Christ said “Render to Caezar the things that are Caezar’s and unto God the things that are God’s”.  This principle does not tolerate the church and the state to interfere with each other.  But as time passes, separation of church and state is not clear.  For so many years now, the church has not been tolerating the wrong activities of the government.  The church is vocal against the law of government that is being implemented during the time of late President Marcos, in the case of the Philippines.  But instead, the church indulges with certain activities for the benefit of the people.  The democracy risen up and the opportunity for freedom reigns.  According to chief Justice Earl Warren of the US Supreme Court, the constitution must be balance and must bind together the church and the state’s sovereignty.  The dignity of the government must be evaluated and not abused in order for people to respect them who yearns for good, pure intentions of Government ruling over them.
